In addition to organic growth, Ramp has made strategic acquisitions to broaden its finance automation platform. It acquired Cohere.io, an AI-powered customer support automation startup, in mid-2023 to enhance its artificial intelligence capabilities, and bought procurement workflow startup Venue in 2024 to expand its offerings in vendor management and purchasing. These acquisitions, alongside Ramp’s ongoing product development, reflect its evolution from a corporate card provider into a comprehensive finance automation platform for businesses of all sizes.
