The browser itself is built in Swift on macOS with a Chromium foundation, and the company has begun transitioning from Firebase to a more secure infrastructure. In late 2023, it began developing Dia, a new AI-native browser assistant. The company’s vision remains focused on turning the browser into a true home on the internet—creative, personalized, and collaborative.
